ABSTRACT

The papers on domestic and foreign health information management covered in CNKI and Web of Science from 2011 to 2016 were retrieved. The hotspots and trends in its researches were identified by visual analysis, which showed that they were consistent in hospital information system, information technology and electronic medical records, the whole development level was higher and the involved range was wider and deeper in foreign researches on health information management than in domestic researches on health information management, the connotation of subjects due historical reasons and the key points in foreign researches on health information management were different from those in domestic researches on health information management.

ABSTRACT

Objective To reveal the evolution, research hotspots and research fronts of clinical pharmacy services. Methods Documents related to clinical pharmacy services from 2000 to 2015 in Web of Science Core Collection database are included.Documents are visually analyzed through a number of co-citation maps, which identified the critical node documents in the revolution of clinical pharmacy services research by knowledge visualization tool, CiteSpace. Its functions of clustering and burst terms detection were also applied to analyze the research hotspots and research fronts. Results This paper determined the distribution of documents on time period, journals, countries and research institutions. Critical node documents perfectly showed the evolution pathway of clinical pharmacy services, main cluster groups and burst terms and documents, indicating the research hotspots and research fronts. Conclusion The research hotspots focus on 3 aspects.1 .Practice, including the service model and content of clinical pharmacy services;its interventions in diseases of emergency, organ transplantation, cardiovascular disea-ses and diabetes;surveys on developing clinical pharmacy services;genotype-guided individualized dosing;remote pharmacy serv-ices.2.Evaluation, including the assessment of the effects of pharmacists' interventions, service quality evaluation, and pharmaco-economic evaluation.3.Pharmacists' career development, including Pharmacists' training pattern, qualification, pharmacy residen-cy programs and job satisfaction.

ABSTRACT

The background, features, dimension and contents of 22 international appraisal tools for clinical guidelines were analyzed, and their history, evolution, rules and problems were described,in order to provide the evidence for developing appraisal tools for domestic clinical guidelines. In the study,it was found that the guideline evaluation tools have been classified and there is a constant strive to achieve the balance between comprehensiveness and practicability. But the existing evaluation tools are insufficient for clinical practical contents of guidelines. The scoring system should be improved. In addition, conflicts of interest, value choice and patients' involvement should be considered increasingly, and should become an important part of the guideline evaluation tools.

ABSTRACT

Objective To find out the problems in information service for diabetic patients by investigating their use of information service. Methods The enthusiasm and channels to access information in diabetic patients and the types of information they wanted were investigated in 14 Wuhan hospitals, which were analyzed by descriptive sta-tistics, chi-square test, and Five-Point Likert Scale scoring. Results About 1/3 of the patients never initially searched the health information on diabetes, the majority of the patients acquired the health information on diabetes from medical institutions, diabetic patients did not show enough concern for the information on the etiology, influencing factors and treatment plan of diabetes. Conclusion Diabetic patients lack of enthusiasm to access information, medical staff and medical institutions are the chief force of information service for diabetic patients, and the special informa-tion accessed by diabetic patients is quite less.

ABSTRACT

The concept, theory model and practical studies of public health information searching behaviors in foreign countries were summarized in order to provide the international experiences that should be learned by domestic scholars and the evidence for domestic health education institutions to work out health education-related policies, and open up a novel approach for improving the public health management ability in our country.

ABSTRACT

It was found that the training targets, offered courses and training levels differed greatly in China and foreign countries by comparing the domestic and foreign education of health information management and the offered courses for undergraduates in 8 foreign and 11 domestic medical universities , indicating thateducation of healthin -formation management should be internationalized and standardized with the IMIA international recommendations as its guidance , its training target defined, and its course system rationalized .

ABSTRACT

Immunohistocheraistry and RT-PCR were used to examine the expression of toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4) in the kidney of diabetic rats.Compared with normal control group, the expression of TLR4 in diabetes mellitus group was increased ( P < 0.05 ).Compared with diabetes mellitus group, the expression of TLR4 in simvastatin treated group was decreased( P<0.05 ).The results suggest that TLR4 may play a role in the pathogenesis of diabetic nephropathy.Simvastatin seems to delay the progress of diabetic nephropathy via reducing TLR4 expression.

ABSTRACT

Objectives To identify the mainstream studies and their development trends in health management research, and enable domestic scholars and institutions in their decision making to select strategic research fields and their discipline development on health management. Methods Co-citation cluster analysis of high-frequency citations, combined with co-word cluster analysis of high-frequency of MeSH terms were used to discover research focuses. This was followed by statistical analysis of the content of each cluster, and demonstration of the research trends through citation and subject strategic diagrams. Results Eight hot sub-fields have been identified both before and after 2002, which include both cross and separate topics. Conclusion With a multi-disciplinary characteristic, health management has not yet developed into a mature and stable research field; Health management involves the whole management process of healthcare services; Mental health management, chronic disease management and its primary health care service are all constant hotspots of studies. Health literacy is an area deserving greater attention in health management; Health management should interact with health insurance, making it part of the medical insurance system.

ABSTRACT

GoPubMed is an intelligent search engine based on PubMed aiming at realizing visualization and post - processing the re-salts. The paper analyzes its performance from three aspects, including working principle, key technique and extended functions. As the result of the research, it reveals that GoPubMed classifies the retrieval results from PubMed by semantic classification tools based on se-mantic web, namely GO and MESH, therefore, it helps users find high related literature very quickly. The combination between semantic web and biomedical information retrieval is realized perfectly, and visualization statistical analysis is gradually unveiled from multiple an-gles.

ABSTRACT

We had previously reported the height-weight formula for the estimation of body surface area of adult Chinese males (this journal 6(2):87, 1984). In this study, by using the same paper cast method, a formula for the adult Chinese females was obtained from the data of 44 healthy subjects (age 18-45) coming from 15 provinces. The mean body weight, height and surface area measured were 52.13?6.22 kg, 159.3?5.18 cm and 1.546?0.105 m2 respectively. The formula thus derived was: body surface area (m2) = 0.00586H (cm) +0.0126W (kg)-0.0461. The value calculated from it was 0.03% less than the value actually measured on an average. The percentage of various body regions to the total body surface area was as follows: head, 6.33; trunk (including neck), 28.27; upper arms, 8.29; forearms, 6.65; hands, 4.52; thighs (including buttocks), 27.40; calves, 12.83 and feet, 6.65.

ABSTRACT

The body surface area of adult Chinese males was estimated by using paper cast method.56 healthy individuals, aged 18 to 45, coming from thirteen provinces mostly from Hebei and Hubei were used in this study. From the results obtained, the mean body weight, height and surface area were 59.78kg, 168.8 cm and 1.712 m2 respectively. A height-weight equation for estimating body surface area was derived accordingly, i.e. body surface area(m2)= 0.00607H(cm) + 0.0127W(kg)-0.0689. The error of the value calculated from the equation was 0.17% higher than the value actually taken on an average. The percentage of various body regions to the total body surface area was as follows: head, 6.11; trunk (including neck), 29.59; upper arms, 8.09; forearms, 6.41; hands, 4.93; thighs (including buttock), 24.63; calf, 13.29 and feet, 6.95.For convenient use a table for calculation was given.
